Hey there!

I’m Jack McAlonan, a passionate photographer based in the beautiful land of Northern Ireland. My photography journey started as a fun hobby when I was 16, thanks to my mom who gifted me a Nikon D3400.

Admittedly, I was a bit of a ‘point and click’ rookie at first — hey, everyone’s gotta start somewhere, right? But as I gained confidence, I started venturing beyond the basics, capturing wildlife, landscapes and all the countless hidden wonders tucked away in all sorts of places.

Today, my camera is my trusty sidekick as I hunt for the hidden gems of nature. Nature photography is my true passion, because I’m endlessly fascinated by the incredible diversity of our ecosystem — so much of it often goes unnoticed! I cherish every moment spent in the wild and love sharing these glimpses of wildlife with you through my photos.
